We are a small group of volunteers who have set up this website and its newsletter to help promote events, venues, and organisations that are building community and/or fighting inequality on this island.
The project began as we had grown frustrated with having to depend on social media companies that are proving to be increasingly misaligned with our own values and are implementing the censorship of movements that are of particular importance to ourselves and our communities.
The Plough is not party political. We are committed in both our support of marginalised communities and our opposition to unjust and undemocratic socioeconomic systems.
