What sorts of events do you list?
We list events from organisations and venues which are focused on building community and/or fighting injustice. Think: community-run and DIY spaces, community groups, activist groups, trade unions, and NGOs.
Do you list gigs/exhibitions/cultural events taking place in commercial venues?
It depends! If the event is a fundraiser for a political cause, then there is a really good chance we would list it. Similarly if the event is focused on political ideas, then we would also consider it. If you’re not sure, then please do just get in touch! We’d rather you asked than didn’t!
How can we start listing with you?
Email us at info@theplough.ie with:
- Subject line: “Listings Query – ‘Your event/group’”
- Some information about your group and event and
- Any links to your social media and/or website.
We’ll get back to you ASAP to let you know if we think it’d be a good fit!
Does it cost anything to list with you?
No! It costs nothing! But, we are a volunteer-run organisation and we do appreciate donations!
